This GoOffice Plan (“Plan”) is open to the following business entities with a valid certificate of incorporation or business license:
(a) sole proprietorship;
(c) private or public company;
(d) statutory bodies; and
2. Standalone Service
(a) This Plan is available as a stand-alone service that is not attached to any mobile device offering.
(b) The Plan is supplied according to the Terms of Service in our Postpaid Sign-Up Form which includes our Fair Usage Policy and Privacy Notice, these additional terms and conditions and any add-on services such as voice or SMS Postpaid Add-On Packs which are governed by separate terms and conditions (collectively, the Terms) all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
(c) This Plan comes with 3 SIM cards, 1 of which shall be used for the Principal line and the additional 2 extra FREE SIM cards may be used as supplementary lines.
(d) You can use the Principal line under this Plan via smartphones only and no other devices such as MiFi and USB dongle. We may from time to time change the device requirement for this Plan at our absolute discretion.
(a) The Unlimited Voice service for the Plan applies to domestic mobile, domestic fixed on-net and off-net usage ONLY.
(b) Video calls, MMS, International Direct Dial (IDD), International Roaming, Voicemail (1311) or calls to special numbers/premium numbers (e.g.: 1300 / 1500 / 1508 / 1600 / 1700 / 1900 / 103, 800 & 15999), 02-prefix numbers for border calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei charges will be based on pay as you use charges.
(c) You must only use the voice service strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage and not for commercial use. In amplification of the Fair Usage Policy, the Plan shall not be:
i. re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;
ii. used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre u sage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication;
iii. used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;
iv. used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;
v. used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or
vi. used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.
(d) In addition to our other rights and remedies, we may suspend or terminate your Plan if you breach any of the Terms.
(a) For non-Mobile Hotspot usage, you can use the Plan via smartphones only and no other devices including MiFi and USB dongle whether such usage is via the Principal line or otherwise.
(b) When there is a network failure, your normal (non-hotspot) data usage may inadvertently be deducted from your mobile hotspot quota. You acknowledge the possibility of this happening and agree not to hold us liable.
(c) Data is only applicable for domestic usage and will not be available when you are roaming overseas.
(d) The Plan includes unlimited video and music streaming with standard definition streaming.
(e) The Mobile Hotspot data quota is available for the Principal line only. After the data from the Mobile Hotspot quota is fully utilised, data speed will be managed
(f) Subscription to Hotspot Booster provides additional mobile hotspot quota on top of the monthly quota allocation. You can only subscribe to Hotspot Booster for Principal line only. If you have subscribed to Hotspot Booster, when you change your rate plan, any unused quota and validity from your Hotspot Booster subscription will be forfeited without refund and will not be carried forward to your new rate plan.
(g) Peer-to-peer (P2P) usage for the Plan is up to 64kbps.
5. Supplementary lines
(a) You are entitled to subscribe to a maximum of 6 supplementary lines under this Plan.
(b) The first 2 supplementary lines will be free of charge (“Free Supplementary Lines”) as long your Account remains active. For clarity, Active means able to make and receive calls.
(c) The monthly fee for Free Supplementary Lines will be first charged to your monthly bill and we will then provide 100% rebate of the supplementary line charges in the same billing cycle. You will be entitled for up to a maximum rebate of RM90.00 per month calculated in the following manner:
** RM45 X 2 supplementary lines = RM90.00
(d) You can subscribe to a maximum of 4 additional supplementary lines on top of the Free Supplementary Lines provided under this Plan. The additional supplementary line usage shall be charged at the rate of RM45 per month for each additional supplementary line.
(e) We may from time to time change the number of Supplementary Lines made available under this Plan at our absolute discretion.
(f) Termination of the Free Supplementary Lines
i. You are not allowed to terminate the Free Supplementary Lines during the term of the Plan.
ii. However, if you terminate the Free Supplementary Lines during the term of the Plan, you will be charged RM90.00 per month (i.e. RM45 x 2 supplementary lines) for the terminated Free Supplementary Lines from the date of the termination of the Free Supplementary Lines until the date of termination of the Plan.
6. U Mobile prepaid upgrade to the Plan
(a) If you are an existing U Mobile prepaid customer and you switch to this Plan, you may retain your phone number.
(b) Any content subscription services which were part of your previous prepaid plan will be automatically terminated and any remaining or unused SMS, voice minutes or data allowance to which you were entitled under the previous prepaid plan will be forfeited.
(c) However, any credit remaining may be carried over to this Plan up to a maximum value of RM100.00 to offset your subsequent bill payments. Any credit balance exceeding the sum of RM100.00 will be automatically forfeited.
7. Business Software License
(a) You are entitled to 1 free business software license under this Plan as indicated in Table A for use under the Principal line (“Business Software”). This free Business Software is provided on a promotional basis.
(b) The Business Software is not a U Mobile product and is owned, served and managed by U Mobile’s business partner (“Software Provider”) subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the Software Provider as made available at https://portal.office.com.
(c) We are not liable for any discrepancies, irregularities, damages or losses arising from your usage of the Business Software. U Mobile makes no representations nor warranties on the Business Software.
(e) The charges for the Business Software will first be reflected in your bill and U Mobile will then provide 100% rebate of the fee in same billing cycle.
(f) We may from time to time change the offering of the free Business Software at our absolute discretion.
8. Monthly Fee/Advance Access Fee
(a) You must pay the Monthly Fee in full even if you do not use the Plan to the full value of the service for the month and no part of the Monthly Fee will be carried over to the following months. Any usage exceeding the Monthly Fee will be billed to you on monthly basis. Monthly Fee may be used interchangeably with Access Fee or Monthly Access Fee in www.u.com.my or in your bill.
(b) Charges for all other services which is not listed in Table A above, such as IDD, International Roaming and other charges will not be deducted from the Monthly Fee and will be charged separately in addition to the Monthly Fee.
(c) The monthly fee is inclusive of monthly rebate.
(d) The Advance Access Fee (which is the amount equal to the Monthly Fee) is charged in advance to your account and will be shown in your first month’s bill. If you do not pay any of your bills by the due date, this Advance Access Fee may be used to set off any outstanding charges. Upon such set off, you are required to pay an additional amount to make up any shortfall in the Advance Access Fee so that the full amount of the Advance Access Fee is maintained at all times. Any remaining balance of the Advance Access Fee will be refunded to you without interest if the Plan is terminated after all outstanding charges have been settled.
(e) Upon activation of the Plan:
i. your subscription of any voice Postpaid Add-on Pack on your previous U Mobile rate plan will be terminated. You will be charged the full monthly charges of the Postpaid Add-on Pack and any unused quota on the earlier voice Postpaid Add-on Pack will be forfeited without any refund.
ii. if you have previously subscribed to any SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack, you will be re-subscribed to the same SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack. The re-subscribed SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will have a refreshed quota and will be valid until the last day of your bill cycle and any unused quota from the earlier SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will be forfeited without any refund. You will be charged with the full charges for the SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack for:
- the previous subscription on your previous U Mobile rate plan; and
- the renewed subscription on the Plan.
(f) All prices stated in these Terms are exclusive of all current and future taxes and other similar charges such as service tax, goods and services tax, sales tax and value added tax that may be imposed by any authority.
(a) You will be entitled to receive a monthly rebate of RM20 for a period of up to 24 months from the date of the Activation of the Plan (“Monthly Rebate”).
(b) The Monthly Rebate will not be reflected in your monthly bill, as it is included in the Monthly Fee as indicated in Table A above.
(c) U Mobile may revise the Monthly Rebate offering from time to time at its absolute discretion.
10. Minimum Commitment Period
(a) The minimum commitment period for the Plan is 12 months from the date of the Activation of the Plan (“Commitment Period”).
- If you terminate or downgrade the Plan or change to another rate plan before the expiry of Commitment Period, you will be required to remit an early termination fee that shall be calculated based on the remaining Commitment Period as follows:
- If the Plan is terminated in month 8 of the Commitment Period, the Early Termination Fee is as follows:
